Baker's Retreat is a two storey apartment in the heart of Ludlow. There is a double room and a twin room, along with a family bathroom. The kitchen has a dining area, and there is a cosy sitting room. Outside, guests have use of the dining terrace of the owner's restaurant and coffee house below, which can be accessed from the apartment's kitchen. There is also a parking permit provided for free parking near by. Baker's Retreat is full of character, with exposed beams and original trusses, and makes a wonderful romantic retreat for enjoying this beautiful medieval town.
Accommodation
Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking available in public car park 100 yards from property (cost £2.40 from 8am to 6pm, free overnight). Loading/unloading at front of property. Shared use of restaurant’s first floor dining terrace accessed via French window in kitchen or via restaurant. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs on doorstep. Note: Apartment reached via 16-step internal stairway, it is part of a 15th century building and the stairway to the bedrooms is steep, therefore this property may not be suitable for the infirm. Note: 10% discount on all restaurant meals (weekdays only). Note: Restaurant shuts at 5pm Sunday to Thursday, 11pm Friday and Saturday. |
